What's holding you back from advancing your career in GIS?

Join MyGISCareer Today!

Whether you're a new graduate, changing careers, preparing for a new position, or simply looking to advance in your current position it is essential that you create a well defined roadmap for how you want to get from where you are today to where you want to be.

Don't expect your university professor, counselor, parents, friends, or favorite pet to guide you to the GIS position of your dreams.

No, this is where you take the initiative in your career.  This will almost certainly require creating your own curriculum and an entrepreneurial mindset in your approach to finding the perfect position to advance your career.  And it doesn't stop the moment you land that position!

GIS technologies and careers are constantly evolving.  The technology you learned even two years ago is almost certainly behind the curve now.  You absolutely must stay up with the technology.

Perhaps most importantly, you need to define a career path that you want to follow for at least a few years.  It's not enough to simply search for a GIS job.  That was certainly possible 20 years ago, but GIS positions today are increasingly specialized so you need to define a career path and stick to it!

We're here to facilitate your roadmap to successfully landing that GIS position

At MyGISCareer.com we provide you with the tools you need to prepare for and land the GIS position you want.  From online training in today's hottest technology to networking and a personalized roadmap to GIS career success, everything you need is here.  It's up to you to put these tools to use.  When you join the MyGISCareer.com membership group you can start using all of these tools immediately.

The GIS profession is a rewarding career path for many thousands of people worldwide.  And I'm not just talking about financial rewards.   The intellectual, psychological, and social benefits are equally outstanding.  But it does take planning, effort, and a willingness to constantly learn and improve your skills.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of a growing industry.

P.S.
